
On Sept.13, hosted by Guangxi Youth Association of East Coast of America, Mid-Autumn Festival Gala was held in Flushing for Guangxi friends. Nearly 200 Guangxi folks from Canada, New York, Boston, Connecticut, Pennsylvania and New Jersey, gathered to observe the Mid-Autumn Festival with a series of activities featuring Guangxi's culture.
This colorful event not only has cultural performances, but more importantly, it provides services to the villagers through various methods such as tea parties, immigration lectures, networking, job descriptions, lucky draws, etc. These activities make students and new immigrants from feel warm and belonging.

During June 15 to 17, 2018, some Midwestern alumni with their relatives and friends gathered in Champaign, IL to have a summer barbecue. The actitives in this gathering included chatting, outdoor barbecue, playing golf, walking, playing volleyball, and playing cards. We especially appreciate those alumni who made donations to GUAAA. GUAAA supported part of the expenses for this gathering.

On May 14, 2018, Justin Zhu organized a celebration party for Eastern Guangxi native graduates. Alumni and graduates sang and danced in the party and had a great time. This party matters a lot, as it not only demonstrated a spirit of alumi's being united and cooperated, but also presented to the society the passion and family love of Guangxi People. Such spirits are not only seen in the elderly, but being delivered to the younger generations. As the cooperated organization, GUAAA provided some supports for this party.

This May, under the organization of Wei Lei and other alumni, southwestern alumni spent a wonderful day having an outdoor barbecue in Huston. Some alumni even drove a long way to Huston to take part in this activity.

On Feb. 17, 2018, under the organization of Jingjian Chen and Dan Lin, some alumni and Guangxi folks in northern California held the spring festival gala in Silicon Valley. Attendees shared their home-made food, chatted happily, and greeted to each other new year's wishes. This activity added festive atmosphere to the spring festival in the US.
